No splicing, no wiring, and no diodes to install it's that simple.The "T" connector for the back side of the alternator doesn't get used, and we provide 2 new ends to solder or crimp onto the existing wires that go to the back of the alternator. We also provide detailed Z exclusive installation instructions. No pulley mods are needed and stock belts fit just fine. Our HO alts kick in at 500 rpm and produce 50 to 60 amps immediately. They reach peak at 2300 rpm and produce either 105 amps or 120 amps depending on which model you use.
