There are two ways to
verify the success of a port work:
1. Dyno run after rebuilding the engine
2. Flow testing
Obviously method 2 is the wisest choice as it provides instant
feedback
as the work is done rather than being disappointed after an engine
is
rebuilt.
Porting "by looks" is like Russian Roulette as air flow
can only be
measured by a flow bench no matter how pretty the work looks.
